Test Method

The test method is very simple and straightforward. Each question is completed in two stages:

1. Initially, the first part of a sentence appears on the screen. You should try to remember this.

2. When ready, click on the screen. The first part of the sentence will disappear, and four alternative phrases will appear. Select the one that correctly completes the initial phrase to form a sentence. You are not able to go back and see the first phrase again.

The test will continue until all 80 questions have been answered or, more usually, when the time runs out. The general aim is to answer as many questions correctly as possible.

When completed, the test score is given on a scale of 0 to 10, in increments of one decimal place. Equivalent Common European Framwork (CEF) and TOEIC™ scores can also be viewed.
